Grub-Getters Food Review
Mune
Food Quality: 5/5
Service: 4/5
Ambiance: 4/5
Price: 4/5
Total: 4.3/5
Mune is a Lebanese restaurant in Madrid (with two locations). Out of all the restaurants we have reviewed, we can confidently say Mune has some of the best food. They have a menu with a large enough selection to satisfy most people (vegetarians, vegans, etc), and yet it does not reach the point where it becomes too large, and the platters lose their specialty. The mezze platters are unlike anything else you can find in Madrid from our experiences. Their falafel is made from scratch, which is something unfortunately not found enough in middle eastern restaurants in Madrid. Needless to say, the food exceeds all expectations, hence we give it a rating of 5/5… and we do not give that rating lightly.
In terms of service, it is consistently good, however, the waiters can sometimes take their time, even when they seem unoccupied. For that reason, we give a service rating of 4/5. The ambiance is nice in the restaurant, and it has nice decorations, however, the space is a little cramped, and there could be better noise insulation. For that reason, we give an ambiance rating of 4/5. The high price in this restaurant is justifiable by the quality of the food, and service, however some items that shouldn’t be overpriced are… like the hummus. For that reason, we give a price rating of 4/5.
Considering these four criteria, a final rating of 4.3/5 is given to Mune Madrid. Under the consideration of the Grub-Getters, we very highly recommend this restaurant.
